This necklace has been hand-made with sterling silver and blue bird turquoise. There are 14 blue bird turquoise stones. Each stone measures approx. .5 W x .75 H inches. It hangs on a 16 inch siler chain.
Blue Bird Turquoise has variations of dark blue to a medium blue in color and the matrix characteristics can vary from golden brown, yellow, white quartz and black. This turquoise is a solid hard material. The mine is located in Arizona and was discovered in the 1970's, not much was used, until recently.
