Hand Painted Elk Hide
Artist: Frank Shortey, Navajo
Frank Shortey was a well-known artist who is also known as "The Din Hide Painter of the Northern Plains." Shortey is part of the Navajo Nation and relocated to South Dakota where he learned the traditional stories of the Lakota.
This beautiful elk hide was hand painted and signed by Shortey in 2001.
