In traditional Northern Plain’s lore, people would tie sinew strands in a web around a small round frame and hang a dream catcher as a charm to protect sleeping children from nightmares. Legend is the good dreams pass through the center spirit hole and the nightmares get caught in the web.
Fashioned from leather this 4 inch wide dream catcher is accented with three feather dangles with a turquoise bead center. Turquoise is believed to be the stone of good fortune.
Due to the hand made nature of this item some variations may occur from the piece photographed.
