Ironwood, one of nature's wonders, gets its name from its amazing hardness and weight similar to petrified wood. Though very difficult to carve, each piece is meticulously hand-carved and etched to reveal incredible detail. It is then sanded and polished to bring out the rich, dark quality of the wood. The end result is an amazingly smooth hard finish with no lacquer or varnish!
