Roaming both land and sea the long lived turtle, keya, carries the weight of the world on its back. The symbolism of the turtle was honored by the Northern Plains tribes because it represented good health, longevity and perseverance.
The design includes the sacred medicine wheel symbol, inlaid with onyx, mother of pearl, pipestone and sand stone.
This elegantly casual setting is crafted from sterling silver and jewelers gold and measures 2 1/2" in diameter on a 18" diamond cut rope chain with a 3" extension.
