Diane Yellowhawk-Richards, Lakota
Northern Plains Indians have long used porcupine quills
as a form of decorating their personal accouterments, weapons and ceremonial items.
These beautiful bead and quill earrings are hand-crafted by Lakota artist Diane Yellowhawk-Richards in a traditional manner with natural porcupine quills and seed beads. Earrings measure 3-inches long and hang from a sterling French wire.
Due to the uniqueness of this item no two designs are identical. Each earring design bears its own unique style and may vary slightly from item photographed.
