Artist: Kelly Looking Horse, Oglala Lakota
Northern Plains Indians have long used porcupine quills
as a form of decorating their personal accouterments, weapons and ceremonial items.
These beautiful bead and quill earrings are hand-crafted by Lakota artist Kelly Looking Horse in a traditional manner with natural porcupine quill and seed beads accented with a tiny feather. Earrings measure 2-inches long and hang from a sterling French wire.
Due to the uniqueness of this item no two designs are identical. Each earring design bears its own unique style and may vary slightly from item photographed.
