Roaming both land and sea the long lived turtle, keya carries the weight of the world on its back. The symbolism of the turtle was honored by the Northern Plains tribes because it represented good health, longevity and perseverance.

This elegantly casual setting is crafted from sterling silver and inlaid with natural earth pigment and buffalo horn inlay making up the colors of the four directions.

The pendant measures 3 inches long x 2 1/4 inches wide and displayed on a 18 inch silver link chain with spring claps closure. Artist's signature PVH, Pretty Voice Hawk appears on the reverse side.
